37 states have passed sharps control legislation

Review Tennessee Senate Bill 1023.
New York (AB 7144) and
Pennsylvania (HB 1570) dealt with new
technologies by using inclusive definitions of acceptable devices.
In both states, bills unanimously passed one house and enactment
is expected by the end of the year.
